Rust Corten takes its reference from weathered corten steel. The deep brown base is layered with warm rust, bronze and charcoal tonal variation, shifting gradually across the slab rather than breaking into pattern, with darker oxidation gathering along the perimeter and faint blue-grey undertones surfacing where the metal would have cooled. Fine granular bloom sits across the surface, the kind of texture oxidation leaves rather than anything geological.
Made from colour body porcelain with rectified edges, the slab offers low water absorption and clean continuity across large surfaces. The matt finish softens reflections and reinforces the authentic corten appearance, which is essential here: gloss would immediately break the illusion the design depends on. Because the tonal movement is broad and non-repeating, slabs can be placed side by side without the joint drawing attention, making it well suited to large industrial-character elevations, media walls and fireplace surrounds.
