Colossal Cream is built on a warm cream base enriched by soft beige, ivory and delicate golden-brown mineral veining. The veins are fine and irregular, branching into short amber capillaries that fade out almost as soon as they form, with cooler ivory patches surfacing in places to break the warmth. Tonal variation is layered rather than linear, so movement across the slab is gentle and the overall character stays restrained.
Made from colour body porcelain with rectified edges, the slab offers low water absorption and clean continuity across large surfaces. Faces A and B form a coordinated pair for bookmatched installation, meeting at the joint in a soft symmetry that suits a warm neutral better than a hard mirrored figure would. At 160 × 320 cm the pattern runs across an island and its returns without a joint, which is where this design does its best work: as a calm ground against timber, brass or textured joinery.
