Ceppo takes its reference from the distinctive aggregate character of Ceppo di Gré, the conglomerate stone quarried in northern Italy. A light grey base is layered with irregular stone fragments in soft grey, white and muted mineral tones, ranging from large rounded pebbles down to fine grit, with the smaller particles filling the matrix between them. Distribution is even across the slab, giving a consistent architectural texture rather than a figure that has to be positioned.
Made from colour body porcelain with rectified edges, the slab offers low water absorption and clean continuity across large surfaces. That even distribution is the practical advantage here: slabs can be laid in any orientation, joints disappear into the aggregate pattern, and no layout planning is required, which makes it the most straightforward design in the range to specify across large floors and continuous elevations. It sits naturally alongside concrete, timber and planting, and reads as a calm neutral ground in both residential and commercial schemes.
